The Park is adjacent to Kenya’s Masai Mara National Park and features infinite undulating plains. The Serengeti is regarded as one of the best wildlife reserves in the world, with an estimated 3 million large animals roaming the plains. The annual migration of wildebeest herds in search of improved grazing is one of the Serengeti’s main attractions. More than 1.5 million wildebeest and zebras migrate from the northern hills to the southern plains for the tropical rains in October and November, then west and north after the long rains in April and June.
