Day by Day Itinerary
After breakfast, continue your drive through Arusha to the Ngorongoro gate to reach Serengeti National Park. You will drive around the crater rim after checking in. Take a break to take some lovely pictures at the crater viewpoint before continuing your trip to the Serengeti National Park, which is home to an abundance of wildlife.
You have the choice to stop at a Maasai village en route. You are invited by a Maasai warrior, who then shares a brief account of their lives. Before entering their modest homes to meet the family members, have a question-and-answer session. They will perform their well-known song, which features high-jumping, while singing and dancing. From there, continue driving while on a wildlife drive en way to Naabi Hills Gate to check in before continuing to Seronera, a region of the Central Serengeti Park. Lunch will be provided on a picnic blanket at the kopjes (rocky outcroppings). Take a game drive in the afternoon to look for the wildebeest migration, then head back to your camp for dinner and the night.
Your 4-day midrange Serengeti safari in Tanzania begins today as you go on a full-day game drive into the Serengeti. You’ll start at 06:30 with a lunchbox and a packed breakfast. A cat family that is attempting to avoid the morning mist can be seen on the road during an early morning game drive. Additionally, you might witness nocturnal creatures returning from a long night of hunting, a pride of lionesses planning an ambush, or lionesses feeding alongside the road.
Take a pause for breakfast in the wilderness before continuing to follow the huge migration. Spend some time seeing the huge cats, big herds, and other wildlife. You will either eat your picnic lunch in the nearby bush or at one of the nearby picnic areas. Many animal behaviors, such as hunting, killing, fighting, etc., are to be expected. Drive back to the camp for dinner and to spend the night before or after sunset.
For an additional fee, you can choose to go on a Serengeti balloon safari in the early morning before breakfast.
You will leave your tent after breakfast with a packed lunch for another wildlife drive. To get a flight to Arusha Airport later, drive to the Seronera Airstrip. On request and at an additional expense, lodging can be arranged if your flight is not that day. We will transport you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) if you have a flight that day to your home country. The best option could be KLM Airways, which departs from Kilimanjaro International Airport at 21:30.
