Route Itinerary

Day 1: Londorossi Gate

Begin your Northern Circuit Route expedition at Londorossi Gate, on the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro. Immerse yourself in the vibrant rainforests teeming with abundant flora and fauna. Spot colobus monkeys leaping through the trees as you make your way to Mti Mkubwa Camp, your first overnight campsite.

Day 2: Shira 1 Camp

Ascend through the heath and moorland zone, gradually acclimatizing to the increasing altitude. Marvel at the awe-inspiring vistas of the Shira Plateau. Set up camp at Shira 1 Camp, where you’ll be surrounded by the picturesque beauty of Kilimanjaro.

Day 3: Moir Hut

Day 4: Buffalo Camp

Day 5: Third Cave Camp

Day 6: School Hut

Day 7: Uhuru Peak – Millenium Camp

Day 9: Mweka Gate
