Today’s trek takes you through the alpine desert, characterized by sparse vegetation and rocky terrain. As you ascend higher, the air becomes thinner, making the climb more arduous. Reach Kibo Hut, located near the barren saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks, and spend the night here, preparing for the final ascent to Uhuru Peak.

The highlight of your journey awaits as you push yourself to reach the iconic Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Wake up in the middle of the night for a challenging climb under the starry sky, with the aid of headlamps, to reach the summit at sunrise.
